How much do movers cost toronto vs renting a truck for a townhouse

I'm an international student moving into a townhouse in Etobicoke next month. I’m debating whether to hire movers or rent a truck and do it myself. I’ve been quoted around $800 for movers, but can I do it cheaper myself? What do I need to consider, especially for schedules and storage?
