Moving from forest hill to smaller unit in downtown toronto how much

I'm downsizing from a large home in Forest Hill to a 2-bedroom condo downtown. I've been quoted anywhere from $800 to $2,000 for movers, and I'm trying to figure out why there's such a big difference. Has anyone dealt with hidden fees or surprise charges during a move like this?
