Is 3101 Eglinton Ave E good for getting downtown on the TTC?

Hey, I'm considering moving to 3101 Eglinton Ave E and want to know how the TTC here works for commuting to downtown. Any info on the subway or streetcar access, and how long it typically takes to get to places like Union Station? Also, are there good bike lanes around this area?
