Saw 96 Jameson Ave on Craigslist, what's the scene like around there?

Looking at 96 Jameson Ave for a new place and curious about the area. I've heard it's close to some great cafes and the TTC is nearby, but I'd love to know more about walkability and local spots. Is it buzzing with life or more laid-back? Any gems I should check out?
