What's happening in Parkdale these days?

I’ve noticed Parkdale is really changing—new cafes and shops popping up everywhere! Rents seem to be going up too, especially in the west part near the lake. Anyone else feel like the vibe is shifting from artsy to a bit more upscale? Curious how others are experiencing it!
