My landlord leaves random fruit at my door - sweet but strange!

So, my landlord has started a new 'tradition' of leaving random fruit at my door every Sunday. Last week, it was a whole pineapple and this week, just a single grapefruit. Is this weird or am I the weird one for loving this? Anyone else experiencing odd landlord gifts?
