Can landlord restrict how often my boyfriend stays over?

I'm moving to Toronto and need clarification on guest policies in rentals. Can landlords limit visitors, like how often my boyfriend can stay over? Are there usually restrictions on overnight guests or in the lease regarding how many nights they can remain? Any insights would be helpful!
