Is 1 Rannock St good for getting to downtown with TTC?

I'm really hoping to live car-free and want to know how the TTC operates around 1 Rannock St. Specifically, how easy is it to catch a subway or streetcar for a quick ride downtown? Any tips on bike lanes in the area for weekend rides would be great too!
