15 Scadding Ave feels super central, but is it really walkable?

I just came across 15 Scadding Ave and it looks interesting. I'm curious about the walkability and how close it is to local amenities. Also, how's access to transit for getting to campus? I'm looking for a space that fits my budget and I'm a bit nervous about sharing costs with roommates.
