Help! Searching for cheap housing options in Toronto

I'm an international student desperately looking for affordable housing alternatives in Toronto. Traditional rentals are way out of my budget! Are there any cheap options like basement apartments, rooming houses, or even creative, unconventional solutions? Any advice would be appreciated!
