Are bike lanes and transit options good around 18 Brownlow Ave

Looking at 18 Brownlow Ave for my next place. I'm all about biking and the TTC—how easy is it to hop on a streetcar or bus from there? Also, how's the ride downtown for work? Any tips on cycling routes to avoid traffic would be great!
