Living at 2531 lake shore blvd w, how's the subway access downtown?

I’m considering 2531 Lake Shore Blvd W for my new place, and I take the subway to work downtown. How easy is it to get to Union Station from here? Also, are there decent bike lanes nearby for weekend rides? Just trying to get a feel for the area’s transit vibes!
