Desperate for a cheap 1BR in Toronto – Any leads?

I'm on a tight budget and in dire need of a cheap 1 bedroom apartment in Toronto or nearby GTA. I've searched everywhere for affordable one bed options, but prices seem sky-high! If anyone knows of inexpensive one bed or any hidden gems in less popular neighborhoods, please share! Need help ASAP!
