Conflicted feelings about my landlord - any advice?

I’ve been having some issues with my landlord lately. They often enter without proper notice, which feels invasive. Has anyone had a similar experience in the Annex? How did you handle it? I want to maintain a decent relationship but also need my privacy respected.
