Thinking about 88 erskine ave and the local coffee scene

I've got my eye on 88 Erskine Ave since it's close to Yonge and has great transit access. I'm all about being able to grab a stellar coffee before work, so I'm curious about the cafes nearby. Also, how walkable is the area for day-to-day errands? Any good spots I should check out?
