Landlord leaves me random fruit at my door - sweet or strange?

So, my landlord has taken to leaving random fruit at my doorstep every week. One week it's oranges, the next it's a weirdly shaped cucumber? I appreciate the gesture, but is this typical landlord behavior? Anyone else have a quirky landlord with odd gifts?
