Looking at 109 jameson ave, what's up with the local parks?

I'm drawn to 109 Jameson Ave because I love being close to green spaces. Are there any parks nearby where you can hang out or take a stroll? Also, how's the convenience of public transit for getting around the city? Any local cafes worth checking out nearby would be a bonus!
