Living around 184 River St and working downtown - thoughts?

I'm considering a rental at 184 River St and want to know how easy it is to get downtown for work. Is the TTC convenient for rush hour commutes? Also, are there bike lanes nearby for those nice days? Would love any insights on walkability around the area!
