Exhausted from the absurdities of apartment hunting in Toronto

Just need to vent real quick. How is it that I’m being asked for employment letters and bank statements just to rent a tiny one-bedroom? This market is ridiculous. I’m so tired of jumping through hoops just to find a place to live. Anyone else completely burnt out from searching?
