Ideal WFH Apartment Size for Productivity?

I'm looking for a working from home apartment in Toronto and need guidance on space requirements. Is a dedicated office essential, or can I make do with a shared space? How about 500 sqft—would that be enough, or is a studio too small for effective WFH? Any tips would help!
