New to the city and curious about 1 richview rd and the area

I'm checking out 1 Richview Rd since I heard the access to TTC is pretty solid. Any recommendations for local coffee shops or parks nearby? I'm also keen on knowing if the area tends to feel busy or if it's more laid back, especially on the weekends.
