Need advice on rent increase in Kensington Market

My landlord just informed me that he’s raising my rent from $1,800 to $2,100 starting next month. I’ve heard that there are limits to how much rent can be increased in Ontario. Is this increase legal? What should I know or do next? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
