Concern over special assessment impact on renters

I'm really worried about the special assessment being discussed in our condo. If the condo fees go up, will renters like us see a rent increase because of it? It’s stressful to think about possibly having to leave due to these unexpected costs. Does anyone know how this works for us renters?
