Is living at 2686 bloor st w good for getting to downtown quickly?

I'm looking to downsize and love the idea of 2686 Bloor St W, but I need to know about the TTC connections. Is the subway nearby for a quick trip downtown? Also curious about bike lanes in the area and how easy it is to get around without a car.
