Apartment hunting vent - exhausted by the search process

Just need to vent real quick. The competition is unreal—I showed up to a viewing this week and there were 20 other people there! I'm so tired of applying left and right, only to get ghosted or see listings vanish before I can even breathe. This market is ridiculous, I can't anymore.
