Is 1520 Bathurst St good for downtown commutes via TTC?

I'm exploring 1520 Bathurst St for rental. How easy is it to get downtown from there? Im curious about streetcar access and bike lanes. Would I be able to hop on the TTC quickly, especially during rush hour? Any local tips on getting around that area?
