Living near 2360 Weston Rd and getting to downtown via transit

I'm considering 2360 Weston Rd for my pet and need to know if catching a bus or streetcar to downtown is hassle-free. How’s the transit frequency, especially during rush hour? Also, are there any good bike lanes for a quick cycle to work on nice days?
