Found a place at 1505 Wilson Ave and curious about the local scene

I'm looking at 1505 Wilson Ave and digging the idea of being near the subway. Is the area mostly residential, or are there good shops and restaurants around? I love taking walks, so wondering about the walkability and any parks nearby too.
