42 Saranac Blvd has caught my eye but what's the local hangout scene?

I’m checking out 42 Saranac Blvd and love that it’s near the subway. I’m curious about what local cafes or parks are within walking distance. I’m mostly considering walkability and if it's easy to get to some good food spots without needing a car.
