Separation from Partner, Need New Place ASAP

I'm going through a separation and need to find my own place quickly. The lease is up at the end of the month, and I want to avoid any issues with my landlord. Has anyone dealt with a similar situation? Any tips on finding a place fast and what to say to my landlord would be super helpful!
