Wondering About Safety in My New Neighborhood

Hey everyone, I'm considering moving into a place in Toronto but have some concerns about safety. How secure are the buildings in the area? Are there issues with bike theft or break-ins? Also, is it safe to walk around at night? Just trying to get a feel for things.
