Co-living: Is it worth the cost compared to traditional roommates?

I'm considering co-living options like Dream and Sociable Living in Toronto. The convenience of flexible leases and built-in community is appealing, but I wonder if the premium prices really justify it. How does this compare to the traditional roommate setup? Any insights?
