First-Time Renter in Toronto, Need Tips!

Hi everyone, I'm moving to Toronto and overwhelmed by the rental market. Is $2400 too high for a one-bedroom in Liberty Village? Also, how much should I expect to pay as a deposit? Any advice on lease terms or must-know things about renting here?
