Do I need a parking permit for moving day in Toronto?

I'm planning my move in Toronto and heard I might need a special parking permit just for the truck on moving day. I'm renting a U-Haul, and I'm not sure if this is a common requirement or how to go about it. Has anyone dealt with this before?
