Rent skyrocketed to $2600, how can anyone afford Toronto?

Just had my rent jump from $1800 to $2600 at renewal. I make $60k, but with rent taking up over 60% of my income, I feel trapped. How is anyone managing? Finding a decent 2-bedroom under $2000 feels impossible now! Are we the only ones struggling?
