Are pet deposits legal in Ontario? Confused!

I'm really unsure about the legality of pet deposits in Ontario. My landlord wants to charge a pet fee, but I've heard that pet deposits might be illegal here. What can they actually charge for pets? Is pet rent a thing, or is it just a fee? Looking for some clarity!
