Fridge's been broken for weeks - what are my tenant rights?

I've been dealing with a broken fridge for weeks now, and my landlord won't fix it. I'm frustrated—whose responsibility is it to repair appliances? How fast must they respond to maintenance issues? I need to know my rights as a tenant to push for repairs!
