Considering leaving Toronto due to housing costs - advice?

I'm really torn about staying in Toronto. The rents are just so high, and I can't afford it anymore. I'm thinking about moving to a cheaper city, but is it worth giving up on Toronto? Anyone else in the same boat or planning to leave? Would love to hear your thoughts!
