Is Parkdale still the hidden gem it used to be?

I've been hearing mixed reviews about Parkdale lately. On one hand, it still has that quirky charm, but I've noticed a lot more upscale spots popping up, which feels a bit off. Anyone here still loving the vibe, or is it becoming too trendy for its own good?
