Worried About Special Assessment Impacts on Renters

I'm concerned about how the recent special assessment will affect us renters. Do we have to pay for these extra condo fees? I fear this might lead to a rent increase because the landlord needs to cover those costs. Is anyone else thinking about leaving due to this assessment?
