I recently moved out and my landlord is dragging their feet on returning my deposit, claiming 'cleaning fees' that feel unjustified. It's alarming how easily they find reasons to keep our hard-earned money. Has anyone dealt with this in Toronto? What steps should I take to ensure I get it back?
