Fridge's been broken for weeks - whose responsibility is this?

I can't believe my landlord won't fix my broken fridge, and it's been weeks! I keep asking them to respond, but no one seems to care. What are my rights as a tenant? How fast must they actually address these repairs? I'm on a tight budget, and this is really stressing me out.
