Frustration with Rising Hydro Bills in Toronto

Since the kids have left, I've downsized to a cozy condo, but my hydro costs have skyrocketed! It's surprising how much energy the appliances in this smaller space consume. Has anyone else noticed this trend, or found ways to manage these expenses more effectively?
