Is pet deposit legal in Ontario? Confused!

Hi everyone, I'm really confused about pet deposits in Ontario. My landlord wants to charge a pet fee, but I've heard that pet deposits are illegal here. What can landlords actually charge for pets? Is there such a thing as pet rent or fees? Any guidance would be super helpful!
