Renting in Toronto is a nightmare - who can afford this?!

Another rent increase, seriously?! I can’t believe landlords are now asking $2800 for a bachelor. Just got outbid again on a place I thought I had a shot at. How are we even supposed to find affordable housing when every listing disappears within hours? This is maddening!
