Need advice on downsizing to a condo in the West End

I'm an empty nester looking to move from my house in Etobicoke to a smaller condo in the West End, preferably around Bloor West Village or Roncesvalles. I want something cozy but not too expensive—my budget is around $2,500. Is that realistic for a decent two-bedroom? Any suggestions?
