Anyone else fed up with rentals in Parkdale?

I swear, my landlord in Parkdale is the worst. Always promising repairs that never happen. I love the vibe and diversity here, but the building is crumbling around me. How are other Parkdale renters coping? Anyone found a decent place in this neighborhood without the horror stories?
