Are Bidding Wars Still Happening in Toronto?

I'm looking for short-term rentals in Toronto for 3-6 months, but I'm unsure about the current rental competition. Are bidding wars still a thing in 2025? Do I need to offer more than the listed rent, or has the market cooled down? Any insights on rental bids and availability would be appreciated!
