Is the Metro at Stevenson Rd and Albert Ave still open?

I used to love shopping at the Metro located at Stevenson Rd and Albert Ave, but I've heard some talk about its status lately. Can anyone confirm if it's still around? I'm also curious if there are any good rental places nearby since I remember that area being convenient for shopping.
