Renting in Toronto: This Market is a Nightmare!

I can’t believe the absurdity of this rental market anymore! Landlords asking for employment letters and bank statements just to consider you? Seriously? I just viewed a bachelor for $2800—are you kidding me? How is anyone ever supposed to afford living here?! This is beyond frustrating!
